For Cystic Fibrosis

BIXI: a route to live and be seen

BIXI is a solidarity platform linked to Arnasa, created to support people with Cystic Fibrosis and their families.

Platform

A group of friends with a clear purpose

BIXI began in May 2023, driven by Seber Uribe and supported by a group of people working on the project design, communication and launch. Through solidarity actions, BIXI aims to make the reality of Cystic Fibrosis visible and channel help to Gipuzkoako Arnasa Elkartea.

The condition

What is Cystic Fibrosis?

It is a chronic and hereditary condition that mainly affects the lungs and digestive system. Early diagnosis can improve quality of life and life expectancy.

Rights

Invisible conditions also need recognition

BIXI calls for recognition, resources and dignified conditions for patients and for the families who carry daily care.

Brussels - Ondarroa

The 2024 solidarity bike ride

On July 24, 2024, Seber Uribe and Aitor Agirre travelled to Brussels. After presenting the project there, they began a 13-stage ride to Ondarroa to give public visibility to the claims.

BIXI song

The song that gave the project a voice

The BIXI initiative also had its own song, created to accompany the road, the message and the solidarity behind the project.
